ABOUT GREENWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT

Welcome to the Greenwood Public Schools District Web site. We understand that there are many elements that must work in tandem to build a successful, quality school system.  The Greenwood School District is proud to have those required elements, and to provide its citizens and taxpayers with one of the finest school systems in the State of Arkansas.

Our teachers have superlative instructional materials, supplies and equipment. Combined with a well-constructed curriculum, consistent discipline, the use of research-based instructional strategies, reasonable class size, and exceptional facilities, this gives us the opportunity to provide a positive educational environment for our students.

We feel we have the most important element necessary to be successful in carrying out our mission: total community support. We enjoy strong, highly-effective Parent-Teacher Associations at all schools, and the citizens of Greenwood have consistently shown that they are willing to do whatever it takes to help us be the best; a winning combination!
