I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in French and English with Secondary Education Certification from the University of Central Arkansas and a Masters of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.  I am currently working on my Education Specialist degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. I began my teaching career in 1989 and have been with the Greenwood School District since 2004.

My Family:  I’m a single mom with 5 children and a grandma of 6 grandchildren. 
My Hobbies:  I enjoy spending time with my kids and grandkids, going fishing with my grandson, and taking care of my 2 ‘kids’ (goats).
My Favorite Book or Author:  “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks is a fairly recent book and a long time favorite is “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
